Delete Contacts + Duplicates app good for
well, its free, so dont brag: it froze twice when i tried to backup my local contacts both via mail and locally. I then had to kill the app and restart it. et voila: second try worked. got the job done.
Super quick and easy to use. Fixed my contacts in seconds! Needed to sync my phone to brand new vehicle and trying to delete contacts one by one was a major pain. Great app!
Some bad moments
Told me I had no duplicate contacts, even though I did. Cant deal with Facebook contacts easily.
this app can do what it said, thanks for deleting the duplicated contacts in my iphone. however everytime use the backup function, it crashes; I need to quit the app again and continue. pls fix it.
For some reason (maybe migrating to new iPad??), I had hundreds of duplicate contacts. I found this app after spending almost an hour deleting duplicates and still had so many. All 778 (yep) duplicates were wiped clean in less than a minute. 99 cents well spent.
The app works well. It is very limited in functionality, but it allowed me to get rid of a group that I didnt know how to delete by other means.
Was able to quickly email myself a vCard backup before removing all duplicates and then 465 useless contacts that Facebook automatically added by selecting ones without phone numbers. Life saver! Thank you!
What can I say? I had 7,831 contacts and wanted to purge the entire contact file. I tried EVERY option available and just like that, it was completed! UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES ABSOLUTELY, NOTHING...ZERO CONTACTS REMOVED, NADA.
It is A TOTAL PIECE OF NOTHING. oh, it shows you all the names and you can pick one thru 7,831, but it doesnt work! All the contacts show as gone but when I opened "Contacts", they were still there.
I tried shutting down the iPad, restarting, and not one contact was removed! I dont use iCloud, restarting this app. The app showed no contacts, but they were still there.
